I got my hubby up and we drove nearly an hour to the airport.  He went back home to get ready for work.  I went through security with no problem and the plane left with no problem (I guess my bad luck on the flights I took the week before did not carry over) I had an hour layover in Las Vegas - it was here I started questioning whether I should have gone to this conference because my daughter's therapist told me she thought I needed to get an attorney right away because things were happening after my daughter had requested to be moved to another group home and to not reunify (she is almost 16) - distraught I got on the next leg of the plane.  I arrived in Omaha to WONDERFUL WEATHER - it had been already in the low 90s when I left Sacramento at 8am - and was over 100 in Las Vegas - Omaha - about 75!!!!!  I called the hotel and they said the shuttle would be there soon.  It got there and took me to the Hotel.  Before I had left I had been studying my facebook to memorize what my roomate looked like - but I instantly recognized her (and her Elvis shirt!)  - we checked in and they gave us COOKIES!!!  (I am such a cookie monster).  Faye and I immediately knew we were perfect roommates together - she had already gotten a fan from the front desk and we both wanted the temperature as low as possible in the room!  We chatted for awhile and then went to go downstairs to see how things were going and to see the room.  We then found one of our friends and helped out a little and started some of our fish pranks!!! Another friend popped into the conference area with her dog - OHH my goodness I just wanted to steal the dog what a sweetheart!!!  (I still think the dog belonged with me - we matched - all black).  We helped out and then locked up the area and my roomate and I asked at the front desk about the shuttle and the shuttle driver suggested a nice place to eat.  We had a nice meal and then got picked back up - I so loved the free shuttle service!

  This year I am starting to have to deal with some chaos.  I came back from the Priestess Retreat and found my husband is very sick and they don't know exactly what it is.  So here is where I am with my seeds of intent...   1.  Continue to work on my health - kind of have slipped but I am working on my diabetes. 2.  Start balancing my case load so it is not overwhelming - I have figured it out to be much better for me and allow me to work more while stressing less. 3.  Continue to follow the path the Goddess has put in front of me especially when it comes to being a therapist - with work I am doing a good job on this - I am taking on what is put in my path 4.  Continue to process letting go of my daughter - still trying to let go - making lots of progress. 5.  Be good to myself - trying - I am struggling a bit with depression and being overwhelmed. 6.  Focus on organizing my life so it allows me to do what I need to do to be good to myself. - this is my biggest struggl

Waiting....

I feel like I am just stuck waiting ... waiting to figure out the next part of our lives.  We just have to keep waiting for answers, waiting for people to get in the office, waiting for this or that.  It is scary and hard since we cannot even figure out what our lives will be in a month and we don't know the best answers or what should we do.  Do we pack up and move far away or do we stay and gamble on more than a part time job.  Do we hang on here and plan or will we end up being broke and homeless.

Lughnasadh 2017

  Time goes so fast.  It is now Lughnasadh.  We celebrate together as we all work to bring in the harvest. So many things happening.  I have gone to Oregon to see one of my clients.  I will soon be going to Seattle and then Bodega Bay.  So many positives are happening and I am struggling to organize myself.  It will be interesting to see what the harvests are this year. It will be interesting to see how the rest of this year's harvest will be.
